Live music returns to West End Markets! Free gig on the banks of the Brisbane River at the wonderful Davies Park Market, West End (Brisbane). Music starts at 9am and goes through to Midday. Grab breakfast, a coffee, kombucha, water and chill on the hill. 9am - Zumpa (instrumental version Italian Folk Music) 10.10am - Fly Little Sparrow 11.20am - Zumpa Zumpa takes you on a musical journey to forgotten Italian fishing villages, moonlit olive groves and a hard life under a hot sun where peasants play music to celebrate life with a fierce sense of humour. Songwriters Lisa Brennan and Lizzie Flynn come together as Fly Little Sparrow to sing harmonies that emulate riding on the wings of a strong-willed bird. Heading on a flight path of beautiful harmonic arrangements, their eclectic repertoire and commentary will take you on a journey from fragility to hope.
